About Me
Being a former high-level athlete, I know firsthand the pressures and challenges of consistently performing at an elite level. I work collaboratively with each athlete and team to figure out the best way to reach their performance goals.
I was fortunate to play junior hockey in the Western Hockey League and Junior A before becoming a student-athlete at the University of Guelph. I finished my hockey career playing briefly in the East Coast Hockey League.
I am a certified mental performance consultant (CMPC) and professional member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA) and the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP). I completed a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Simon Fraser University. I have also worked closely with my supervisor, Dr. David Cox, in both practice with Tennis Canada and research with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
I currently work at North Shore Stress and Anxiety Centre and UBC Hospital.
